Live from the Hospital!

10:21 AM  -  We are currently at the hospital while Monica is getting checked out.   She is having contractions every two to four minutes.  I’m running a quick test run on the live streaming to prepare for the actual live streaming.

10:31 AM – The doctor is checking Monica out so we will be offline for the next 30 mins.

10:45 AM – They just told Monica to walk for another 35 mins.  Looks like we won’t be leaving here anytime soon…

10:47 AM – I’m going to walk with the hot pregnant wife.  So, we’ll be offline for a few minutes.

11:20 AM – The Dr has said that she is about to break Monica’s water!  Baby is on her way!  Sorry, no live streaming for now…

12:13 PM – Monica’s water has been broken.   She’s just laying and resting as the contractions get stronger and stronger.  I’ll provide streams when possible.

12:41 PM – One of the Grandmas just arrived.  They are continuing to monitor and test her.  I’m unable to provide a constant stream due to obvious privacy reasons.  :D   But will provide some whenever possible.  If only for a few minutes.  We ask for your prayers for a safedelivery and healthy baby.

1:26 PM – Monica is getting an Epidural.

4:18 PM – As some of you have seen through the feed, we are just chilling.  Monica is “a bit more than halfway there” and we’ve only been here for 7.5 hrs…  She was given an Epidural and is now not feeling the contractions as hard even though you can see the contractions topping the charts.  A nurse is prepping the “delivery table” with a bunch of scary looking instruments.  Reality is setting in.   Thank you all for your prayers, emails, the texts, the calls, the comments and for watching.  :D

6:28 PM – Monica is officially ready to “dar luz” or “give light” (that’s how we say “to deliver” in latin countries).  She is prepped and ready to push!  The doctor is in!  Please pray for a safe and healthy delivery!
9:00 PM – Monica starts pushing.
9:48 PM – Seanna Sofia came into this world.  Thanks be to God!  Everything was great!
9:49 PM – I am holding an angel.
10:31 PM – She is introduced to the world!
Here’s a picture of her.  I’ll add some more when we get home.  I don’t have good internet access right now.

I really want to thank everyone for their calls, emails, texts, kind comments, good wishes and your thoughts and prayers as we went through the delivery.  Everything went absolutely perfect and we are so thankful to God for His presence in the delivery room.  He gave Monica strength and guided our baby into this world safely.  We are truly grateful for this and that’s why we named her Seanna (God is gracious).   To God be the praise and glory.   We praise Him for his love and mercy.  We feel wonderfully blessed to have caring and loving family and friends.  God bless you all!  –The Downs Clan
